Situated in the middle of the existing Arthur Andersen live office complex on The Strand London, this £19 million construction provides 48,000sq ft of high quality office accommodation.
Portal Glazing Systems Ltd were awarded the design and installation of the new Category 'A' office building of 3 storeys and is constructed in steel and glass. It is linked to the existing Strand Block through a new atrium and to the other buildings via 3m wide glazed bridge links at first floor level.
A new prestigious entrance was created on the Strand elevation, which is the single point of entry for visitors. This was achieved by over-cladding the existing elevations with glazing, with a glass canopy projecting over the entrance.
Portal Glazing Systems scope of works included the design supply and installation of the glazing and associated works.
